Macarthur Gardens North Residential Development (EPBC 2017/8029)

The following notice is published pursuant to Section 95A of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).

Landcom is delivering a residential development within the Campbelltown Local Government Area in south-west Sydney (Lot 1097/DP1182558). The development will ultimately provide for urban residential living and is planned to consist of residential dwellings, associated infrastructure, community recreation areas and environmental conservation land. The proposed action has been determined to be a “controlled action” under the EPBC Act. The controlling provision under the EPBC Act is “Listed threatened species and communities” (Sections 18 and 18A).

The Commonwealth Department of the Environment and Energy advised that the project will be assessed through Preliminary Documentation.

The preliminary documentation for the proposed action will be on display in hard copy for twenty (20) days from 18 September to 16 October 2019 at the following locations:

Campbelltown City Library – 1 Hurley Street, Campbelltown NSW 2560

State Library of NSW – Macquarie St, Sydney NSW 2000
