Boco Rock Wind Farm Ecological Assessment

The project included vegetation mapping; general and targeted flora and fauna survey; impact assessment; Biobanking assessments; client, landholder and agency negotiation; preparation of EPBC referral documents; the identification and delivery of offsets and reporting.

The site supports Natural Temperate Grassland and a number of threatened species. Detailed negotiations with government departments and reptile specialists were undertaken to establish a relocation strategy for the threatened reptiles present across the site and to achieve a net biodiversity outcome for the site.
