Ecological Assessment
Eco Logical Australia was engaged by the Growth Centres Commission to undertake an ecological assessment for the land at the Oran Park Precinct in Western Sydney.
The ecological assessment at Oran Park focused on assessing:
- Vegetation communities (validation of community and condition)
- Oppurtunistic fauna sightings
- Fauna habitat characteristics (including woody debris, tree hollows, grassland, leaf litter, emergent aquatic vegetation, fringing aquatic vegetation, creek banks, rock, and stags)

- Recovery Potential
- Conservation Significance
- Ecological Constraints
- Groundwater dependant ecosystems
- Riparian habitat characteristics
- Aquatic habitat
