Andrew has a reputation of identifying and providing strategic advice and operational initiatives to maintain environmental compliance and reputational excellence in the resource industry. Prior to joining Ecological Australia in 2018, Andrew was the Shell Australia Marine Specialist servicing all Shell projects and operations in the marine environment across Australia. Andrew was responsible for providing environmental risk management advice to environment, commercial, legal, government relations, senior management and the board within Shell Australia. His Queensland responsibilities included (Queensland Gas Corporation (QGC) servicing the Marine Operations and Shipping division. Creating new industry benchmarks for marine management in sensitive environments is another rewarding aspect of his career. The innovative achievement for the Marine Group of the former Queensland Gas Company (QGC) (now Shell Australia) was the implementation of the world's first light based compliance monitoring of seagrasses during dredging. This initiative lead to a fundamental shift in government regulation and compliance during dredging projects. Andrew is dedicated to building project teams and mentoring new team members.
