Namoi Wetland Assessment
Namoi Catchment Management Authority
We were contracted by the Namoi Catchment Management Authority to assess and prioritise wetlands within the Namoi catchment.
The project was comprised of several related components including:
- Comprehensive mapping of wetlands from satellite imagery
- Development and application of a prioritisation framework
- Field surveys of target wetlands
- Wetland condition assessment
- Development of a monitoring framework
- Hydrological modelling/'commence to flow' assessments
- Development of a wetland management framework
- Compilation of a wetland dependent vegetation inventory.
